Amy is an Advanced Hair Stylist with 15 years of experience behind the chair and a deep passion for creative color work and transformation. Originally from a small college town about three hours away, she spent the last eight years owning and operating her own boutique salon, building a loyal clientele and a career rooted in artistry, connection, and care.
Amy recently relocated to the Downriver area. With her warm, friendly energy and artistic flair, Amy brings a vibrant spirit to the Daybreak Salon & Spa team.
Known for her eye for detail and her ability to make every guest feel seen and celebrated, Amy specializes in color transformations and thrives on helping clients achieve a look that lights them up from the inside out. Her background also includes a cosmetology instructor’s license, which speaks to her commitment to growth and excellence in the craft.
Beyond the salon, Amy is a lover of concerts, painting, books (especially romantasy and horror), and all things festive—she’s especially famous for her seasonally decorated porch goose, Minerva. She also enjoys traveling, decorating, and spending time at local craft shows and street fairs with her newest pug, Dexter.
Amy is excited to bring her creativity, experience, and heart to Daybreak, and looks forward to building meaningful connections with both clients and her new salon family. Her goal is to ensure every guest leaves feeling refreshed, important, and like their visit was the highlight of their month—with great hair as the cherry on top.
