River graduated from Irene’s Myomassology Institute with straight A’s. He specializes in therapeutic massage, stress relief and treatments customized to each guest’s needs. His additional training includes Reiki, assisted stretching and sound therapy. These specialized services offer more ways to encourage relaxation and overall well-being.
For River, a great massage begins with communication. He takes time to understand each guest’s goals, areas of concern and pressure preferences. He then tailors each session to meet those needs. His calm demeanor and attention to detail help create a comfortable, professional experience.
Before pursuing massage therapy, River earned his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Eastern Michigan University. He also enjoyed a successful career as a professional singer, performing and traveling internationally. His appreciation for music and the arts continues to influence his interest in wellness and relaxation.
Outside the spa, River enjoys nature walks, bird watching, live theater, concerts and spending time with friends.
